The Golf Group becomes home to The Tour and Players School.
The Golf Group has become the official home of The Tour and Players School (TPS). Developed over the past 20 years, the Tour and Players School Golf Programs provide intensive instruction for professional golf development as well as for high school and college-level player instruction. "Having great facilities is a major advantage in developing a great golf game," says John Redd, Owner and Director of Golf for The Tour and Players School. "The Tour and Players School teaches exclusively at The Golf Group courses. Each course is dramatically different and challenging for all players. When we are working on Tour Level Play, we have the choice of such courses as Rock Springs Ridge or Twin Rivers. Other golf courses in the Golf Group provide the opportunity to work on elevated lies, precision shot making, and give us the ability to create great course management skills. Having a variety of golf courses also increases mental ability to make changes in our thought processes. Even if you don't come to the school, come to Central Florida, and play the fine courses of The Golf Group."
